THE WORKSHOP:
In this workshop we will see more deeply the TK and structures and how they work in many different situations through differentexercises that will include: floor-work, semi-suspensions, predicaments and full suspensions with some different transitions that will be from less to more difficult (adapted to the level of the attendees).
With this workshop we will go deeply on technique, communication, aesthetics, body and line management and efficiency. We will also
approach traditional semenawa from a practical and theoretical point of view, understanding the philosophy behind it.
About the instructor
Vik and Gala are a couple from Barcelona. They have done ropes together for more than 4 years.
Vik started exploring both roles in ropes before finding his preference for the rigger side, while Gala started bottoming until she discovered her curiosity for tying both others and herself.
Both have learned from local and international teachers. For them, rope is a tool to explore, discover and express their feelings and highlight them. They found simplicity and intricacy in a style that enhances the beauty of the body and emotions, simple in appearance but with a great purpose, intention, complexity and intensity. Through their way of tying, they both exemplify a mixture of darkness, strength, delicacy, eroticism, closeness, power and more primal instincts.
They have had the opportunity to do performances or, as they prefer to call them, live sessions with an audience, both locally and
internationally, as well as professional photo and video shoots. They have also been invited to Milan to participate in the Kinbaku Lab research group and, both as riggers, created the Kinbaku Lab Barcelona along with other riggers and bottoms.
For several years now, they have been focused on sharing Kinbaku professionally, both in international workshops and at the studio they are running together, Shizen Studio Barcelona.
Requirements:

- Tk stabile and solid
- Knowledge of basics (single column, double column, reverse tension, friction, etc)
- Suspension lines management plus ties off
- Set of 8-10 ropes minimum
- Knowledge of the safety basics (injuries, self body knowledge, hand checks, etc)
General informations and payment:
The workshop will be held in English.
This workshop is for bondage couples who already have experience with Shibari. This is not a beginner’s workshop. The active part should have at least an “upper intermediate level” – a deep understanding of the rope and bondage of other styles. If you are not sure whether your skills are sufficient, please contact Atrim Namor (namor@seilsport.ch or 076 209 72 23).
Switching is not possible during the course due to time constraints. A maximum of 7 couples can participate.
Dressing:
Well-fitting (preferably tight for the passive part), comfortable, sporty clothing, slippers or socks.
Catering and breaks:
We take breaks during the course. Snacks, fruit and soft drinks are provided. This is included in the course fee. For the longer break, please take something to eat with you.
Cost:
CHF 490.00 per couple for both days (the course cannot be booked for individual days).
You will receive a booking confirmation after your registration. Please pay for the course within 5 days of receiving the confirmation to the bank account given to you in this e-mail. You will then receive a definitive course confirmation. Your place is then booked for you. If payment is not made within these 5 days, the reservation will be released.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations up to three weeks before the start of the course are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
If you cancel up to two weeks before the start of the course, we will deduct a 50% cancellation fee.
No refund of course fees is possible for any later cancellation of the course.
However, participants can find a substitute to take their booked place. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
